  • Question # 6 correction: In the first paragraph, currently it says "Let the number of user-level threads in the program be greater than the number of processors in the ". That is an abrupt ending of sentence. However, question can be completed by yourself in following two ways and in either case, it doesn't change the meaning:
    1. It could be completed as "...processors." and then "in the" is extra or
    2. It can be completed as "... in the system".

  • Based on confirmation by the senate secretariat, I have no choice but to change the date/time of 60-330 Midterm 1 . Since the Senate By law require 2-week notice, the new date/time for Midterm 1 is now Tuesday Feb. 24, 2015 at 11:30 AM, i.e., the regular class time. Old announcement for Midterm 1 date/time is now void. The midterm will cover all the material from the beginning of the term till what will be covered by the end of lecture period on Thu.
